Sgt. Leroy E. Guidroz flew on the B-24H, 41-29387, Snark. On 8 Aug 44, on a combat mission, his aircraft, Snark, was put through violent actions by it's pilot to avoid flak. 8 Aug 1944. Four crewman bailed out and were captured (POW). The remaining crew returned to England (RTS). The plane crash-landed at Manston, U.K. 5 (RTS) - 4 (POW) - 1 (MIA). 8 Aug 44. Sgt. Guidroz was declared missing in action (MIA). 15 Aug 1944. MACR 7381
