Military ROLL OF HONOURBTG, Duncan crew. 381st BG, 532nd BS. Shot down 1 December 1943 in B-17 #42-29506 'Full Boost!'. Mission #46 to the chemical plant at Leverkusen, Germany. Diverted to the steel works at Solinger, Germany. MACR 1578. S/Sgt Jeffers oxygen line was shot out during the mission and aasked for help. He was killed in the ball turret shortly after oxygen had been replaced. Killed in Action (KIA). Originally buried in the Memorial Cemetery of St Omer at Longuenesse, Germany.
