Leo Frank Teetman Jr

Leo Teetman was born in Brooklyn to parents of Polish descent, and lived most of his life on the East Coast. He joined up in 1942 and was assigned as a gunner to the 384th Bomb Group, 547th Bomb Squadron, based at Grafton Underwood in Northamptonshire.
Leo completed 25 credited missions in the early stage of the bombing campaign, when the USAAF’s focus was on Occupied Europe.
Leo settled in Connecticut, where he worked for a company making optical instruments. He married and had three children.
