Captain Donald S. Bryan of the 328th Fighter Squadron, 352nd Fighter Group, watches his latest kill being marked on his aircraft by one of the aircraft's ground crew. The name of the Crew Chief K.W. Noyes is recorded on the aircraft's fuselage. The 352nd Fighter Group was stationed at Bodney Air Base between July 1943 and November 1945.

Kirke Noyes served as Crew Chief with the 328th Fighter Squadron of the 352nd Fighter Group. He was Crew Chief for Don S Bryan's aircraft.
Noyes won bronze star for meritorious service on his P-51 which flew 325 combat hours without an abort for mechanical failure.
