Pilot Butler returned to base with 3 crewmen as 6 had bailed out over Southern Holland to become Prisoner of War (POW)s.

The 533rd BS War Diary has the men who bailed out as landing near the airfield at West Malling in Kent and returned to duty. The 242nd Medical Detachment War Diary lists them as POW's.
