Kenneth A Maloney
Military ROLL OF HONOURFO Maloney was a member of the 56th FG and after his tour of duty he then joined the 27th ATG in Feb 44.
A plane crash in England of a P-38 started Mr. Finch on a search for the identity of the pilot and he requested a picture of Lt Maloney be forwarded to him in Dec 2003 His records indicate the crash was on 2/14/44 and happened at Kelstern Grange,South Lincs, Eng. Not for sure if this is same man and plane. 27thATG records show he served with the RAF before transferring to the USAAF and was killed in the ETO on 2/12/44.
Aircraft was a P-38 which crashed in thick fog in Lincolnshire on 14 February 1944.
