Died

25 July 2009 Kenneth A. Johnson, 91, died Saturday, July 25, 2009. Mr. Johnson was born in River Falls, MN, and moved to The Villages from Jonesboro, GA, in 1999. He was retired from the Air Force with the rank of lieutenant colonel; a former prisoner of war; and worked in the private sector, retiring in 1984. Survivors include his wife, Wanda; two nieces; and several great-nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, at the Chapel at Cornerstone Hospice, The Villages, with Chaplain Joe Walker officiating. Internment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, St. Paul, MN, with full military honors.
