Joseph R Edwards

Joseph Edwards' went missing in action on 4 March 1944, in P-51 Mustang (43-6493). Eyewitnesses report he was last seen flying with his squadron before they encountered overcast weather over the English Channel.



Edwards' mother Julia Caddel (Cadell) Edwards Barnes received a telegram informing her that he was MIA



Edwards' father was Milton C Edwards a veteran of the First World War. Edwards' grandfather Michael Caddell was from Dublin, Ireland and served as a Sergeant in the Union Army during the Civil War.
