MilitaryShot down by fighters just after bombs away on a mission to Brunswick on 20 Febr 1944 in B-24H 42-52139 'Birney Marlin'. Some of the crew baled out and a/c crashed near Gottingen. Prisoner of War (POW).
He died in November 1996
