Joseph F Moloney

Military ROLL OF HONOUR

Plane shot up badly , ditched in Switzerland but demolished in Lake Constance. on 8 June 1943. Moloney was hit between the shoulder blades with a 20mm shell and killed before plane ditched. His body was found when the plane was raised they found his body. He was the first American airman to die on Swiss soil.
