Arthur Reid Bowers

Lt. Bowers was from Tiskilwa, Illinois, and was assigned to the 4th Fighter Group, 334th Squadron on 16 November 1944. He remained there until the end of the war.
He flew a P-51 Mustang QP-S named "Sweet Arlene", and was credited with six enemy aircraft destroyed.
Post War: For 28 years, he was a Bureau Service fuel distributor, a painting contractor and a farmer until retiring in 1983.
