Crashed landed at Ridgewell due to battle damage on the return from a mission to Frankfurt in B-17F #42-30834 'Mickey Finn'. RTD. Earlier on 20 December 1943, flying B17 42-37754, had oxygen problems on the a/c 'Who Dat Ding Bat' and S/Sergeant Lee Gibson died.
