Last seen near Stettin with an engine on fire on a mission to Posen, Poland on 20 Feb 1944, B-17G #42-39792 crashed landed at Tofthogs Gard, Sweden. Interned.







Earlier, 3 December 1943 crashed on base in B-17#42-39791 ÒFletcherÕs CastoriaÓ. 9RTD. Then 27 December 1943 accident after landing B-17#42-37772 ÒFlying JennyÓ during formation training flight training. All returned. Tashian crew.
