The wreckage of a B-17 Flying Fortress (MZ-X) of the 413th Bomb Squadron, 96th Bomb Group that has crashed at Dymchurch, Kent. Passed as censored 8 Feb 1944. Printed caption on reverse: 'No. 10. This crippled bomber, back from a raid over enemy territory [obscured by censor] was headed towards the sea by its pilot as he and the crew baled out. Instead, it fell on Dymchurch, 100 yards from the coast and many houses were damaged.'
