The torn-off engine of a P-47D Thunderbolt (D5-N) of the 386th Fighter Squadron, 365th Fighter Group piloted by Second Lieutenant Matt Ruper that crash-landed in a field west of Fontenay-sur-Mer in France on July the 5th 1944.
