The burning wreck of a 364th Fighter Group P-51D Mustang piloted by Lieutenant James Korecky is extinguished by ground crew after the aircraft collided with a B-17 Flying Fortress at Honington airbase. Lieutenant Korecky was killed in the crash. Handwritten caption on reverse: 'P-51D 44-14034, crashed into B-17 on Honnington[sic].' Second handwritten caption on reverse: 'Ian, I do not think this /is/ 414034, but 4148...'
