Debden, base of the 4th Fighter Group from September 1942. View from SW of Debden taken by Edward Richie. Red Nissen hut next to back entrance road to blister hangers is the Belly Tank, EM bar. Later disassembled and rebuilt at the SAF Museum at Dayton, Ohio. Ed may have been taking photos from the back seat of the 4th Fighter Group's Vaultee Vengeance hack plane. However, his son Mark has not yet found mention of this day in Ed's Diary and/or V-mails. Handwritten on slide:"Debden aerial B40"
