Bouchard was then assigned to Fighter Command. "Frenchy's" aircraft included P-47D IV-L 42-8545 and P-51B IV-L 42-106906, both named "Mary." S/Sgt. Floyd Myers, crew chief; S/Sgt. William Wall, assistant crew chief; Cpl. Henry Plazewski and Cpl. Hugh D. Hairston, armorers; Sgt. Ralph P. Moe, radio.
