This photo is B17G 42-39891. Hit by flak over Frankfurt March 2, 1944. Crash landed in a small town Near Arlon Bel. Shultz (p) and Farr (gunner) stayed with aircraft as long as possible. Remaining crew bailed out earlier all POW. Farr evaded and Shultz was captured.
