This card from the 707th Bombardment Squadron was in my fathers personal affects. It implies membership, to be awarded by the Commanding Officer and Ops Officer of the 7 07th squadron into a club of "Lucky Bastards". I am curious what the "white ball" going up means, I suspect it was signed and awarded after accomplishing 30 foray's (perhaps missions) over Germany to exterminate the "house painters" (Hitler) theories on global rule. Dad was not a aircrew member and would not have been eligible to earn membership into this club but certainly was there to support those who did. As a Supply Sergeant he most likely had to stock such cards for those lucky enough to earn one.
