B-24H-15-CF #41-29402 "The Mad Monk" 466th BG - 784th BS Suffered a nose wheel collapse on 17 March 1944, five days before the 466th BG commenced it's combat operations. This aircraft was repaired and was ready for operations. flying her first mission to Oschersleben on 11 April 1944
