1st Lt. Billy J. Murray in publicity style shot in August 1944 in front of a P-47D. Murray would complete his tour in April 1945 claiming one German air victory over a ME-262 jet fighter on January 14, 1945. Murray flew a P-51D named "Donna J" for his sister back in Altus, Oklahoma.
