Gore, formerly of the 84th Fighter Squadron, 78th Fighter Group, but reassigned to 310th Ferrying Squadron of the 27th Ferrying Group. The P-38 belonged to the 38th Fighter Squadron of 55th Fighter Group. 10 February 1944. Printed caption on reverse of print: '72322 AC - This Lockheed P-38 piloted by 2nd Lt. Lobert N.
