43-38566B-17 FLYING FORTRESS, wrecked, after return to airbase. Plane collided with 43-38270 on 3 Feb 1945 on 385th Mission No. 213 to bomb Wetzlar. Photo scanned from book given to me by navigator Myron Loyet, who is pictured in the nose of the wreck. His story is written in the June 1999 newsletter of the 385th Bombardment Group Memorial Association.
