Group photo taken in 1945 of a Reconnaissance Group in England, possibly at Watton. From William Hahn: 'My father was stationed with the US Army Air Force in England, possibly starting in 1943 or 1944. Recently in moving I found the enclosed photo which I had not seen before. My father wrote on it "1945 photo, Recon Group, Walton Air Base, England." My father, Robert C. Hahn, was quite young at the time and is in this photo, the third person from the right in the very back row (his face is partially obscured by the person in front of him). '

Recognition. My Uncle Capt. John William is in Front Row, Third from Right. Also in he Front Row, Fifth from right is Captain Howard E. Kaplin, whom I recognize from a photo from my uncle's collection, reportedly taken by Captain Lionel A. Proulx, with prints given to each of the men then photographed.
