The results of the bombing on 10 and 13 September 1944: The Daimler plant is largely destroyed, in the right of the picture the damage in the city can be seen. On Tuesday, September 19, 1944 the Daimler plant was photographed six days after the attack by a US aerial reconnaissance (using 7th PRG USAAF). By 13:00 Lieutenant G. J. Glaza flew with Spitfire PR Mk XI, PL866 of the 7th Photo Recon Group at 30,000ft altitude, over the Daimler factory and brought the photos in the image scale of 1:10 000 for the final evaluation back to England. Clearly the severe destruction of the attack were now visible. After this attack the Sindelfingen plant was to be no longer capable of production and was removed from the target list for further strategic bombing and classified destroyed by USAAF with more than 85 percent damage.
