A drawing of Colonel Chesley Peterson of the 4th Fighter Group. Hubert Zemke (56th Fighter Group) has handwritten on the reverse: 'Chesley Peterson, 2nd Co of the 4th Fitr Group at Debden. A col at age 22 years. Personally I held a lot of respect for "Pete" and was one of the few Flying Officers that Zemke hadl in high respect in the 8th Fighter Command. Had a very pleasing personality- could fly with the best, spoke convincinlgy with ease and had a maturity far beyond his years. It was a real set back for me when he was taken from combat flying Now a MG (retired), Utah.'
