A 434th Fighter Squadron, 479th Fighter Group P-51 Mustang (L2-W) nicknamed "Scat VII" after the end of the war. Handwritten on slide casing: '479th F.G.' The photo depicts a post-war reconstructed "Warbird" in private ownership. This is obvious from the shape of the canopy which has been extended to include a second seat behind the pilot and the propeller which is a post war type. It is only a representation of Robin Olds' Scat VII..
