Tests conducted by W/O Nugent [Thompson]. L to R: Crew Chief "Pappy" - John C. Ford; Asst. Crew Chief: "Slug" Richard Schultheis. When Ford became Flt. Chief, Schultheis trained at "The Wash" and became gunner. Flew 35M [missions].'
