The nose art of a B-24 Liberator nicknamed "Toonerville Trolley" of the 389th Bomb Group 567th Bomb Squadron, serial 42-50731 coded HP-Y. It returned to the USA in October 1945 to be salvaged at Altus, OK. It was named after the Toonerville Trolley comic strip drawn by Fontaine Fox which ran for almost 50 years, ending in 1955.
