Robert "Bob" S. Johnson, formerly of the 56th Fighter Group greets Bob Bean upon delivery of restored P-47D serial 42-23278 (FAA registered N347D) to Republic Aviation. The aircraft was subsequently painted in Johnson's markings and eventually found its way to the U.S. Air Force Museum. Handwritten caption on reverse: 'Bob Bean and Bob Johnson.' On reverse: 'B&B Associates' [Stamp].
