The P-47, known as “Thunderbolt” – U.S. single engine, high altitude fast fighter is now in service with fighter squadrons in England. One of the newer types of U.S. fighters is a single seat low wing monoplane. Powered with Pratt & Whitney R-2800, 2000 h.p. turbo super-charger Curtiss four-bladed automatic control propeller. It belongs to over 400mph speed class but the ceiling and range are not released. The span is 41 ft., length 32 ft., and height 13 ft.
