Art on a B-17 Flying Fortress nicknamed "Dream Boat" of the 8th Provisional Weather Squadron. Handwritten caption on reverse: 'One of our boys painted this picture on Col. Reed's B-17 - the famous (to me) "Dream Boat". I flew from Burtonwood to Langford in this plane in May '44 and from Langford to London in June '45. Also a lot of other flights.' Handwritten caption also on reverse: '8th Prov.' Weather Sqdn.'
