IMAGEPilots including Lieutenant Robert C Strobell of the 353rd Fighter Group with a P-47 Thunderbolt. Handwritten caption on reverse: 'Strobell extreme right.' As you look at the photo front row left is Robert E. Bachand and right is Henry J. Carbonneau. Rear right is Robert C. Strobell, centre is Hardy L. Biddy and left is John J. Hatch of Norristown, Pa. The photo was taken at Raydon some point before 5th August 1944 when Hatch was lost over the North Sea. Maybe Hatch is behind the camera for the other photo in this series?
