Detailed History
Angeren, The Netherlands. Location of the crash of B-17F 42-29746 on July 30, 1943, after a bombing mission to Kassel, Germany. There is plaque/memorial which lists the names of the air crew who were KIA, along with other allied soldiers who lost their lives near Angeren in WWII.
