Prisoner of War (POW) Shot down by fighters and Crashed near Hinter-Henbach on 7/16/44 in B-17 42-102476. Reported Prisoner of War (POW) 19 Sept 1944.



Interred Stalag Luft I in Barth. Returned to Active Duty. Has four children. Died in a crash of a B-47 in 1955. Wife, Jeanne Berry, did not remarry. She passed away on June 10, 2011. Both buried in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
