Toms River, New Jersey 11 January 2013 Rocco F. Milano, 92, of Toms River, passed away Friday, January 11, 2013 at home. He was born and raised in Belleville, NJ, residing there until relocating to Toms River 28 years ago. Rocco was a veteran of the U.S Army, serving during WWII, where he was a member of the 57th Bomb Wing. After his discharge from the Army, he worked as a mechanic for Macy’s Elevators in Newark. Rocco was a member of Coopstone Free & Accepted Masons of Kearny, York Rite Free & Accepted Masons of Livingston, and the Salaam Shriner Temple of Livingston. In May 2012 he received the French Legionnaires Award.
