He was born and raised in Belleville, NJ, residing there until relocating to Toms River 28 years ago. Rocco was a veteran of the U.S Army, serving during WWII, where he was a member of the 57th Bomb Wing. After his discharge from the Army, he worked as a mechanic for Macy’s Elevators in Newark. Rocco was a member of Coopstone Free & Accepted Masons of Kearny, York Rite Free & Accepted Masons of Livingston, and the Salaam Shriner Temple of Livingston. In May 2012 he received the French Legionnaires Award. |
