Miller completed his 35-mission tour with the 13 April 1945 trip to Neumunster. He had flown 15 of those sorties with B-17G 43-39000 "Extra Special" (coded LG-E); the first had been on Valentine's Day to Prague. With two exceptions (24 & 28 February) he flew "000" the rest of his tour.
