5 January 1944 - 8 May 1944 Landed in parachute near Saintes, France. Helped by French citizens and Résistance members. Crossed into Spain from France on 19 March 1944; arrived at Gibraltar on 8 May and was flown back from there on 10 May, landing in Bristol, UK 11 May 1944.
