Cleveland, OH, USA | 15 November 2006 | Paul L. Carll, 86, of Cleveland, formerly of Seneca, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2006. Born July 1, 1920, in Elgin, Kan., he was a son of the late James L. and Ora L. Carll. Mr. Carll was a decorated World War II fighter pilot and active in several veterans' organizations. He graduated from Cranberry High School. He was a graduate of Case Institute of Technology and past president of their alumni association. He was a 32nd degree Mason and member of the Chesser Cheese Club, M.O.W.W., and the Sons of the American Revolution. On D-Day, June 6, 1944, he married the former Marian Heckathorn, who survives in Cleveland. |
