He flew 22 missions. His first mission was on 3 January 1943 to St. Nazaire. On his 22nd, target was St. Nazaire and his B-17 was disabled by flak and then shot down by ME-109s and FW 190s.
29 May 1943 41-24602. Prisoner of War (POW) at Stalag Luft 3 Sagan-Silesia Bavaria (Moved to Nuremberg-Langwasser) 49-11.
He was afterwards a physician in Concord, CA.
