Flew the southern route into the ETO via South America and Marrakech. Arrived in England but couldn't tell you what it was like - it was that foggy!
Flew 35 missions. On the first one you didn't know what you were going into and on the last one you couldn't wait until it was over!
Made friends with a British kid called Pat Ramm. Pat was 8 years old at the time they first met and went to school near to the base. The two are still friends in 2014.
Nearly all of Mo's crew stayed together throughout their tour and kept in touch after the war. His left waist gunner didn't make it through with them though. He was taken off flying duties on their 17th mission. For the rest of their tour they flew with one replacement gunner or another.
Mo says he's the only one of his crew still alive as of October 2014.
