Gary Welch (son of Martin D. Welch)
Martin D. Welch flew 35 missions with the 305th Bomb Group as a Ball Turret Gunner. He was part of Crew 30 - the Pennington Crew. He stayed in the Air Force after the war, and served 2 tours in Vietnam as a photo-interpreter during the worst years of the conflict. Martin later served at Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota and retired as a Master Sergeant.
