Kenneth was an ambulance driver before being called up and training as a flight engineer and gunner and eventually joining the Group at Snetterton Heath.He flew on 30 combat missions - mostly on 'Conga Belle', having several 'near misses' and one time after entering the bomb bay to dislodge a bomb almost following it down.
