On the Mission ALBANY orders, Joe is listed as Co-pilot of C-47 # 42-100806, Chalk # 82. For Mission GALVESTON, he is listed as Co-pilot of C-47 # 43-15252, Chalk # 13. On the 12 July 1944 movement orders from Ramsbury to Montalto, he is listed as Co-pilot of C-47 #42-100978. Resupply and air-evacuation orders on 24 August 1944 listed him as co-pilot of C-47 # 42-100638.
After the war he was in the Air Force Reserve and retired as a Lt Col.
He was a member of the 437th TCG Association and was listed on their rosters from 1950 until 2003.
