Entered service at New York, NY 2 December 1942. Joined 392nd BG early March 1944. Meighen crew. Rank at end of WW II was Staff Sergeant. Flew first mission 12 March 1944, survived 30 missions. Discharged 1945. Later in life, he supplied aviation historian Roger Freeman with many photos for him to use in publications about the B-24 and the 8th Air Force.
