I am Janet Townshend's son. I have corrected the spelling of her maiden name. What a lovely surprise to find this!

I am Janet's son. I have corrected the spelling of her maiden name. Also, she wasn't a twin, she was the sister of twins Molly and Maureen.

From Chris Brassfield, 466th BG Historian: "The girl on the left in the 100th Mission photo is Janet rather than Molly Townsend. Janet was Molly's sister. Paul Hindle mentioned the confusion but said he was sure it was Janet and not Molly."
