James M Tuttle
MilitaryWhile strafing a train south east of Paris August 12 1944 he flew through a bomb blast which damaged his aircraft. He was seen to 'belly in' in an open field and run to a small Chapel at the edge of a wood. He successfully evaded and reported back on 31st August.
