Returned from flight July 23, 1944, in which pilot and top gunner were killed in action. Combat Chronology p. 142

He joined the Group at Molesworth on May 27 1944 and flew on 11 combat missions. On the last they ran out of fuel - one crew member opened his chute to soon and went down with the plane - as did the pilot.
